House of Representatives
- The House is the lower chamber of Congress.
- The House holds the exclusive power to initiate revenue bills, impeach federal officers and elect the President if no candidate receives a majority of votes in the Electoral College.
- Each of the 50 states has at least 1 representative, with additional representatives allocated based on population as measured by the United States census, who serve terms of 2 years.
- The House is currently comprised of 435 voting members (213 Democrats, 219 Republicans, 3 vacant)
- All seats will be contested on November 5, 2024.
